Total obtained his Bachelor of Laws in 2017 from the Manchester Metropolitan University and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws in 2018 from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Previously, he also obtained a Bachelor of Law degree from the Fujian Normal University. He is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
